Data Sharing Policy
The Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Studies (JECS) believes that all data associated with research should be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) wherever possible, enabling other researchers to replicate and build upon published work.
Data Availability Requirement
Any data necessary to understand, evaluate, and validate the research presented in an article must be made available at the time of submission. Authors are strongly encouraged to deposit their research data in appropriate, trusted repositories (e.g., institutional repositories, discipline-specific databases, or general-purpose repositories such as Zenodo or Figshare).
Data Citation
Authors should include a data availability statement in their manuscript, citing the location of the data (e.g., repository name and persistent identifier such as DOI). If data cannot be shared due to ethical, legal, or privacy restrictions, the authors must provide a clear explanation in the manuscript.
This policy supports transparency, reproducibility, and the FAIR principles in scholarly publishing.
