The Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Studies (JECS) is a diamond open access journal. All published content is freely and immediately accessible to readers worldwide, with no subscription fees, pay-per-view charges, or embargo periods.

Open Access Policy

JECS supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. Upon publication, all manuscripts become freely accessible to scholars, students, and readers from around the world.

There are no submission or publication fees for authors. The journal imposes no financial barriers of any kind on readers or institutions wishing to access its content.

License and Reuse

Articles published between 2014–2025 are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This allows reuse for non-commercial purposes only, with proper attribution.

Articles published from 2026 onwards are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This allows reuse, distribution, adaptation, and commercial use, provided proper attribution is given.
