Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections

← Back to Publication Policy

The Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Studies (JECS) supports transparent post-publication discourse and welcomes constructive feedback on published work. Discussions may take place through letters to the editor or on external moderated platforms such as PubPeer.

Post-Publication Discussions

Readers and researchers are encouraged to engage in scholarly dialogue about articles published in JECS. This may include:

  • Submitting letters to the editor for formal consideration
  • Participating in discussions on PubPeer, an independent platform for post-publication peer review

All comments and discussions are expected to be respectful, constructive, and focused on the scholarly content of the work.

Corrections

When errors are identified in published articles, JECS will issue appropriate corrections in accordance with COPE guidelines. Corrections are published as separate notices linked to the original article, ensuring transparency while preserving the scholarly record.
