About the Journal

Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Studies (JECS) (E-ISSN: 2149-1291) is a diamond open access, peer-reviewed, and interdisciplinary academic international journal edited in the United States. The journal publishes theoretical, methodological, and empirical research from all disciplines dealing with ethnicity and culture.

Since 2014, JECS has provided a space for critical questions, innovative concepts, and formative findings in ethnic and cultural studies. Since 2020, the journal has been published quarterly to accommodate growing submission volumes.
